Wayne Bester matrikuleer in 2005 aan Hoêrskool Zwartkop en tree op ouderdom 18 die danswêreld toe.  Hy studeer Sportwetenskap ten einde sy dans loopbaan te bevorder.

Na sy studies begin hy in 2014 sy eie dans studio. Dit ontwikkel later in ‘n maatskappy genaamd  Sweat Dance Company wat geleenthede skep vir dansers om betaalde werke te kry. Dit verskaf vermaak vir korporatiewe funksies, produksies en ander geleenthede wat opkikkering benodig.

Sedertdien het Wayne al in talle Suid-Afrikaanse musiekkunstenaars se vertonings gedans en die choreografie daarvan hanteer, soos Krone 1, 2 en 3, Bobby van Jaarsveld en Franja du Plessis se vertoning, Snotkop se Weiveld vertoning, Snotkop se Midstream Spring Fest en Kelsy Middleton se Next Generation 3 vertoning. 

Hy het ook verskeie musiekvideos gechoreografeer:  Snotkop (Dikkelicious), Chrizaan (‘n Duisend keer ja), Kurt Darren (Laat die dansvloer brand) en Angel de Lange (Ek huil oor jou).  Wayne het gedans en die choreografie hanteer by die bekendstelling van Anders se CD (Bruid) en was betrokke by Lesta Erasmus se balletproduksie: Le Corsair.

Wayne gee al vir die afgelope 7 jaar klas in Centrurion, asook per geleentheid ope klasse vir ander studios.  In 2017 begin Wayne die Sweat Dance Oorbruggingsjaar Program en dans een van sy studente in Justin Bieber se vertoning by die FNB Stadium en.

Verder is Wayne betrokke by die MOOV Dans Konvensie wat jaarliks in Oktober gehou word.  Dit behels 4 dae van deelname gevolg deur 2 dae van werkswinkels en word aangebied deur internasionale danssterre met nasionale dans inspirasies.

Wayne se choreografie is uniek omdat hy die vermoë het om balans te vind tussen dans en die storie wat vertel word en om emosies as die kern van sy werk te gebruik.  Sy choreografie benodig baie energie en stamina. Wayne is lief daarvoor om plofbare bewegings te gebruik wat elke deel van die liggaam aktiveer en om dansers te druk na ‘n volgende vlak van prestasie.

Wayne Bester matriculated at Zwartkop High School in 2005.  His involvement in dancing started at the age of eighteen and to benefit his dance career, he decided to study Sport Science.  

After his studies in 2014 he started his own dance studio. It evolved into a company called Sweat Dance Company that creates opportunities for dancers to get paid jobs.  It provides entertainment for corporate functions, productions and other events that need some spice.

Since then Wayne has often choreographed for and danced in numerous South African music artists’ shows such as Krone 1, 2 and 3, Bobby van Jaarsveld and Franja du Plessis’ Show, Snotkop’s Weiveld Show, Snotkop’s Midstream Springfest and Kelsey Middleton’s Next Generation 3 Show. 

He also choreographed several music videos: Snotkop (Dikkelicious), Chrizaan (‘n Duisend keer ja), Kurt Darren (Laat die dansvloer brand) and Angel de Lange (Ek huil oor jou).  Wayne choreographed and danced at the launch of Anders’ CD (Bruid) and was involved with Lesta Erasmus’ ballet production:  Le Corsair. 

For the past 7 years Wayne has been giving dance classes in Centurion, as well as occasional open classes at other studios.  In 2017 one of his students danced at the FNB Stadium in Justin Bieber’s show and he launched the Sweat Dance Gap-Year Program. 

Wayne is involved in the MOOV Dance Convention that is annually held in October.  It consists of 4 days of competing followed by 2 days of workshops with international dance stars and national dance inspirations.

What makes Wayne’s choreography so unique is his ability to find balance between dance and telling a story, as well as using emotions as the core of all his work. It’s also well known that Wayne’s choreography needs a lot of energy and stamina.  He loves explosive moves and activating every part of the body, pushing dancers to another performance level.
