Met vyftien jaar professionele ervaring in ‘n wye verskeidenheid dansaktiwiteite, het Sylvia Prinsloo haarself gevestig as ‘n bekwame dansopvoeder en ‘n volwaardige kunstenaar.

Sylvia is opgelei deur Pinto Ferreira (in jazz), Andre Calitz (in hip hop), Monique Mc Cord (in klopdans), en in kontemporêre dans deur Kelsey Middleton, Jeannette Ziady en Catherine Daniels. Sy het ‘n vaardige begrip en egte waardering vir alle dansvorme ontwikkel.

Sylvia is ‘n lid van die Association of International Dance Teachers (AIDT), Theatre Dance Association (TDA) en Dance-Ed International. Sy is ook ‘n lid van die WX Hip Hop straatontwikkelingsopleiding en is onlangs aangestel as eksaminator vir Dance-Ed International.

Sylvia ontvang haar balletopleiding deur die Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

Sy het verskeie korporatiewe- en teatergegeleenthede gechoreografeer, en het onlangs saam met Pinto Ferreira gewerk om die bekroonde 50 Shades of Boogie vir die Tshwane Universiteit van Tegnologie se dansafdeling te choreografeer.

Sylvia is ‘n vryskut-dansonderwyser en choreograaf wat daarna streef om uitnemendheid in opleiding aan te wakker en vars kreatiwiteit te verken in die produksie van opwindende en gedagteprikkelende danswerke.

With fifteen years professional experience in a wide array of dance activities, Sylvia Prinsloo has established herself as an accomplished dance educator and a consummate artist.

Trained by Pinto Ferreira (in jazz), Andre Calitz (in hip hop), Monique Mc Cord (in tap), and in contemporary dance by Kelsey Middleton, Jeannette Ziady and Catherine Daniels, Sylvia has developed a proficient understanding and keen appreciation of dance forms across the board.

Sylvia is a member of the Association of International Dance Teachers (AIDT), Theatre Dance Association (TDA) and Dance-Ed International.  She is also a member of the WX Hip Hop street development training.   She has recently been appointed as an examiner for Dance-Ed International.

Sylvia received her ballet training through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

She has choreographed numerous corporate and theatre events, most recently collaborating with Pinto Ferreira in choreographing the acclaimed 50 Shades of Boogie for Tshwane University of Technology’s Dance Department.

Sylvia is a freelance dance teacher and choreographer who aspires to instil excellence in training and to explore fresh creativity in producing exciting and thought-provoking dance works.
