MUSIEK – INSTRUMENTAAL

 

BYKOMSTIGE REËLS EN RIGLYNE / ADDITIONAL RULES AND GUIDELINES

 

1.            By alle items geld eie keuse.

Own choice applies to all items.

 

2.            ‘n Kopie van die bladmusiek moet vir die beoordelaar beskikbaar gestel word.

A copy of the sheet music should be made available to the adjudicator.

 

3.            Dieselfde werk mag nie vir twee verskillende items aangebied word nie.

The same work may not be presented for two different items.

 

4.            Die skoolgraad van die jongste deelnemer bepaal die kode waar verskillende ouderdomme saam deelneem.

The school grade of the youngest participant determines the code where different ages participate together.

 

5.            Duet – Onderwyser: Die onderwyser hoef geen inskrywingsgelde vir hierdie items te betaal nie. Slegs die leerder betaal ‘n solo fooi.

Duo – Teacher:  The teacher does not have to pay an entry fees for these items. Only the learner pays a solo fee.

 

6.            Klavierprogram:  Twee konstrasterende werke.

Piano Programme:  Two contrasting works.

 

7.            Klavierkonsert: Slegs een beweging.

Piano Concerto:  Only one movement.

 

8.            Stryk- en Blaasinstrumente: Deelnemers se uitvoering kan met of sonder begeleiding plaasvind. Meld die instrument op die inskrywingsvorm.  Voorsien asb. u eie musiekstaander.

String- and Wind Instruments:  Participants may perform with or without accompaniment. Indicate the instrument on the entry form.  Please provide your own music stand.

 

9.            Ligte Musiek: Meld die instrument op die inskrywingsvorm.  Samesang word nie toegelaat nie. Voorsien asb. u eie musiekstaander.

Ligth Music:  Indicate the instrument on the entry form.  Singing along is not allowed.  Please provide your own music stand.

 

10.            Gesinsmusiek: Verwys na slegs gesinslede, bv. ouer(s) en kind(ers), broer(s) en/of suster(s), grootouer(s) en kleinkind(ers).  Meld die instrument(e) op die inskrywingsvorm.  Voorsien asb. u eie musiekstaander.

Family Music:  Refers to only family members, e.g. parent(s) and child(ren), brother(s) and/or sister(s), grandparent(s) and grandchild(ren).  Indicate the instrument (s) on the entry form. Please provide your own music stand.

 

11.            Instrumentale Ensembles en Orkeste: Sluit enige kombinasie van 4 tot 15 instrumente in.  In hierdie afdeling moet die program twee of drie kontrasterende werke insluit (± 10 minute).   ‘n Orkes kan verwys na ‘n boere-orkes, mondfluitjieorkes, jeugorkes, ens.  Voorsien asb. u eie musiekstaanders.

Instrumental Ensembles and Orchestras:  Include any combination of 4 to 15 instruments.  In this section a programme should include two to three contrasting works (± 10 minutes).  An orchestra can refer to a boere band, mouth organ band, youth orchestra, etc.  Please provide your own music stands.

 

12.            Deelnermers word versoek om applous na optrede, met ‘n glimlag en buiging te erken.

Participants are requested to acknowledge applause after performance, with a smile and curtsy.
